yikes, it's been a while. time flies when your busying about.
but yes, this (above) is a sign i was asked to make: a price list for the refreshments at the church in ruislip.
so like i said, im busier than my brain knows how to handle right now, but i have much to post about when i get the chance, just you bear with me!

stitch

so this weeks illustration friday topic is stitch, and here be my entry. i've cheated a little this week, and have recycled this image that i made whilst at uni, working on a project about the knit wits (the knitting circle in farnham lucy and i used to go to).
i remember it taking aaaages; hand-stitching it all, and once it was finished i spent another age animating it, sadly it didn't even get used for the project in the end, but at last now it has a purpose! hoorah indeed.

so yes, if i get inspired i may well create a new entry and withdraw this one, but for now, this will jolly well do!

frightened owls...

it's good job owls aren't afraid of the dark. i imagine it would make their lives somewhat difficult.

it's been a while, but i've been tuckered up in bed with tonsillitis this week, so that's my excuse! i will be much more productive next week for sure.

first orders...

so yes, i have had my first few orders for my ipod cosies, which is exciting. although they were all through word of mouth, so not such big news really. but i've designed a little tag for them and i think they look pretty darn cute!

2008 is busy. what with my new job (which i'm still getting used to...) but yes, posts may be few and far between, but i've got a few projects going on, so as soon as they're all wrapped up, there will be posts galore i'm sure!

i resolve to draw everyday.

i resolve to say 'hello' to the people i haven't seen since yester-year.
to see more of the people i miss and to mend some old broken bridges.

i resolve to not be so scared of the world.
